This is my first tegu and I am glad I found Rose City Reptiles. I ordered a male blue from Trixie x Stripes. I was very excited when I got the email that the eggs had hatched, and moreso when I received the email to ship him out. Tragically, he died during travel. He was boxed up well, the weather was perfect, so unknown why. I followed the DOA protocol, and Audrey reached out as close to immediately as is possible. She was profusely apologetic, and worked with me to find a solution. Rose City sent another one out the next day, and he made it safe and sound. He's been great so far, still a little standoffish, but we'll get there. He's eating, thermoregulating, digging, and thoroughly enjoying his new enclosure. So happy I found Rose City. Awesome family that obviously cares about not only their animals, but their customers.

I was awaiting the news of a clutch hatching, but unfortunately I received an apology email, the clutch never hatched. I was asked to contact them to inform them of what I wanted to address the unfortunate situation. Joey called me personally to discuss my options for getting a different tegu or refund. I was extremely happy with the overall outcome. The service, compassion, and understanding was phenomenal. I would recommend Rose City Reptile to anyone, good business, great people.

She's a little aggressive. Every time I put my hand in her enclosure. She has bitten me a couple times, but I believe I can tame her out and was wondering more about her.

Thank you all so much for taking proper care of the animals. Bought a random “we pick” blue male. He seems to be very healthy! Even the fingernails were trimmed up a bit before being shipped. Very active and you can tell he’s been handled in the past (which has seemed to have helped bonding). Sooo happy to have the new guy in the family!
